The Olga Iglesias Project Opens Its Audition Call for the 2026–2027 Season

San Juan, Puerto Rico – The Olga Iglesias Project (OIP) opens its audition call for the 2026–2027 season, an invitation to join the artistic team that brings Puerto Rican classical music to schools across Puerto Rico.

The call will select two singers, each with a $250 honorarium, who will join the Project's Artist Programs as Fellows or Young Artists and perform in paid educational recitals throughout the year at schools across the island.

Auditions are open to singers who are U.S. citizens, are at least in the fourth year of a bachelor's degree in voice or have completed a bachelor's degree in voice, and have their own transportation and availability to travel across Puerto Rico, an interest in learning new repertoire, and a commitment to educational and community projects. Candidates must have full availability to attend the in-person auditions.

At the audition, each participant will perform one aria and one Puerto Rican danza, both of free selection. The in-person auditions take place September 7, 2026, at a venue to be announced, and the deadline to complete the application is August 24, 2026.
