San Juan, Puerto Rico – The Proyecto Olga Iglesias (OIP) prepares to celebrate an extraordinary milestone in its history with the event "Encuentro de Coros: Juventud de Mi Patria" (Choir Encounter: Youth of My Homeland), a musical celebration marking the organization's fifth anniversary. This youth choir festival will take place on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the University of Puerto Rico Theater, promising a memorable afternoon of music, culture, and community celebration.
A Celebration of Five Years of Musical Impact
Since its founding in 2020, Proyecto Olga Iglesias has evolved into a transformative force in Puerto Rican music education. This fifth anniversary represents not only a temporal milestone but also a testament to the lasting impact the organization has had on the artistic development of young talents and the preservation of Puerto Rico's musical heritage.

The "Encuentro de Coros: Juventud de Mi Patria" event presents diverse programming that celebrates both Puerto Rican choral tradition and emerging talent. The festival will feature special performances by the Orfeón San Juan Bautista, which is simultaneously celebrating its 25th anniversary, creating a double celebration of musical excellence and artistic longevity.
