The Gonzalo Aponte Foundation Grants $5,000 to Olga Iglesias Project

On June 8, 2022, the Gonzalo Aponte Foundation (GAF) granted the Olga Iglesias Project, Inc. (OIP) the sum of $5,000 in order to continue supporting the Artist Residency for emerging Puerto Rican classical singers.
The FGA supports education and social causes through scholarships to university students and donations to non-profit organizations. Its student scholarships provide supplemental financial support to young people who are pursuing university studies and demonstrate satisfactory academic achievement, leadership and interest in community development.
"Thank you to the GAF for this great contribution. We share the mission of helping talented and driven young Puerto Ricans to become professionals and contribute to a better society," said Cheney Guzmán, Founder and Executive Director of OIP.
